My Approach

Our work together will be collaborative, tailored to meet you where you are and allow you to move forward at your own pace.

I work with clients who are navigating challenges related to body image, and disordered eating. Also, I support individuals seeking support with life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress, identity & self-esteem. My practice focuses on identifying limiting beliefs, fostering self-compassion, and cultivating new ways of being.

I take an integrative therapeutic approach that welcomes all parts of you into the healing process. My holistic approach focuses on integrating mind, body, emotion, and spirit, while also considering the social, cultural, and familial influences that shape your story.

My practice blends somatic, mindfulness, and embodiment techniques with traditional talk therapy. I apply frameworks like Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused, Narrative, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), all within a trauma-informed and strength-based perspective.

Just as a river winds through varied landscapes, our journey together will traverse deep emotions and moments of vulnerability. I honour the natural ebb and flow of healing, embracing the tears, the laughter, and everything in between. Together, we will navigate and grow through the beautiful and sometimes messy moments along the way.

About Me

At home on Vancouver Island, I love to explore coastal and forest trails, swim in any available body of water, backpack in remote places, and tend to my garden. I find solace and inspiration in nature; its beauty and transformative power ground me, help me stay connected to myself, others, and the world around me.

My lived experience has fostered deep empathy and a richer understanding of the complexities of life and the intricate layers of the human experience. I continue to learn and evolve through the work I do with clients, gaining new insights and expanding alongside them.

I am deeply honoured when someone shares their story with me. The healing power of genuine, meaningful relationships is something I deeply believe in. It is this connection that motivates me to support others as they navigate their challenges, discover their resilience, and experience personal growth.
